New Release | Young Koala Special Edition

Special edition, signed and numbered (composed of 10 artist proofs and 90 copies), manufactured based on a technique developed by Bordalo II to reproduce mechanically and in 3D format, an edition that conveys the plasticity of his work.

As fires reaped through Australia along the years due to Climate Change, devastating numbers of animal deaths were registered. Either by being burned alive  or due to the destruction of their natural habitat, which they rely on for food and shelter. 

Amongst these animals, the Koalas - one of the most empathic creatures on our Planet.  Keeping in mind that the koalas are not the only species who needs help, we found Koala Hospital of PortMacquarie focused on Wildlife Rehabilitation and research and decided that 40% of the profits will be donated to them, to help save the koalas and rehabilitate their homes.
